MCC & Starter Panels in the UAE

Confido provides MCC and motor starter panel engineering and integration for industrial, HVAC and infrastructure applications across the UAE.

Our scope can include motor-control architecture, starter arrangements, control interfaces, VFD integration, interlocks, monitoring signals, testing and commissioning support.

MCC engineering

Motor-control functions coordinated with equipment operation.

MCC engineering brings feeder organization, starter functions, control philosophy, interfaces, monitoring, schematics, terminals and documentation into one coordinated control scope. The service does not imply that every panel is manufactured in-house or carries an unverified construction approval.

  1. 01

    Motor-control architecture

Motor feeders, starter functions, operating modes and equipment relationships are organized around the application and control philosophy.

  2. 02

    Interfaces & monitoring

Commands, feedback, faults, selector states, interlocks and monitoring requirements are coordinated with connected control systems.

  3. 03

    Schematics & terminals

Control schematics and terminal organization define the required internal functions and external field interfaces.

  4. 04

    Documentation

Engineering records are developed to support wiring, interface verification, commissioning and future maintenance.

Motor starter panels

Starter arrangements selected around motor and operating requirements.

Applications may use DOL, star-delta or reversing starters where technically applicable. Local and remote controls, indication, overload interfaces and interlocks are defined against the motor, driven equipment and project requirements without asserting unsupported protection or electrical ratings.

  • DOL starters
  • Star-delta starters
  • Reversing starters where applicable
  • Local / remote control
  • Run and fault indication
  • Overload interfaces
  • Interlocks

VFD integration

Variable-speed motor control integrated with MCC interfaces.

VFD-fed motors can be coordinated through supported control and status interfaces, local or remote operation, communications, fault monitoring and bypass arrangements where applicable. The final arrangement depends on the selected drive and project scope.

VFD Systems
  • VFD-fed motors
  • Control and status interfaces
  • Local / remote operation
  • Supported communications
  • Bypass arrangements where applicable
  • Fault and status monitoring

PLC / BMS interfaces

Motor status and control connected to wider automation systems.

PLC or BMS interfaces can coordinate supported commands, feedback, fault signals, selector state, interlocks, analogue references and communications. Interface selection depends on the panel, connected equipment and project architecture.

  • Start / stop commands
  • Run feedback
  • Fault signals
  • Selector status
  • Interlocks
  • Analogue references where applicable
  • Supported communications

Motor-control applications

Control arranged around building and industrial equipment.

MCC and starter interfaces can support HVAC and industrial equipment where starter selection, control functions and monitoring are compatible with the motor and operating requirements.

HVAC motor control

  • Pumps
  • Fans
  • AHUs
  • FAHUs
  • Cooling towers
  • Ventilation systems
  • Chilled-water equipment

Industrial motor control

  • Pumps
  • Process equipment
  • Utility systems
  • Conveyors where applicable
  • Package equipment
  • Plant auxiliaries

Testing & commissioning

Verification from starter operation to site interfaces.

Testing and commissioning support can include visual and wiring checks, starter operation, interlocks, local and remote controls, feedback and wider system interfaces. Scope follows project responsibilities and equipment readiness without asserting an unsupported formal test standard.

  • Visual checks
  • Wiring verification
  • Starter operation
  • Interlock testing
  • Local / remote checks
  • Run and fault feedback
  • Control-interface checks
  • Site integration

Retrofit & modification

Existing MCC condition assessed before changes are defined.

Retrofit may include starter or component replacement, control-circuit changes, VFD integration, added PLC or BMS interfaces, staged upgrades and recommissioning. Existing condition, compatibility, available space and documentation determine feasibility; direct replacement is not assumed.

Electrical Control Panels
  • Existing MCC assessment
  • Starter replacement
  • Control-circuit modifications
  • VFD retrofit
  • PLC / BMS interface additions
  • Component replacement
  • Staged upgrade
  • Recommissioning
